- Description
- The client is looking for Higher Level Clearance Automated Test Developers to join the team, working full time and based on client site. As an Automated Test Developer, you will be responsible for: - The design and development of tests using the project approved tools. - You will work within an Agile environment. - You will liaise closely with the Test Manager, the Lead Architect and the Security Team to ensure the design; automation and test coverage meet the requirements. - You will have clear demonstrable experience, knowledge and understanding of Automation Testing within modern software/applications development, especially with respect to Agile Development methodology. - You will need to be a confident communicator both written and oral, in order to work within the different teams and directly with the client. - Your responsibilities in the Automation tool evaluation, Define the road map for automation, create, execute and debug the test scenarios with defined tools, the creation and debugging of the test scenarios. - Design and development of automated framework using the project approved tools. - Proven experience leading and mentoring successful engineering teams. - Experience of full software development lifecycle using Agile(SAFe)/DevOps concepts. - Practical experience with continuous integration tools. - Attendance at Agile Team meetings and events. - Consulting skills, e.g. problem solving, for instance to understand the clients challenges and translate this in how to assist Software development skills, e.g. JAVA, C# and understanding of software development best practices - Test automation tools, enterprise (e.g. Tricentis TOSCA, Microfocus UFT) and open source (e.g. Robot Frameworks, Selenium) testing tools. - Knowledge of the delivery life cycle and best practice in test automation - Ability to evaluate different tools against defined criteria to develop the right solution based on that specific challenge - Excellent communication skills, written and spoken - Experience of SAFe and agile ways of working.
