- Description
- - A proactive Security Architect with a prior technical background as a Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, or Security Engineer
- Key - Needs a strong architecture focus. the SyA to go beyond critiquing patterns and assist the Lead SyA to consult, design and implement; security enforcing functions, policies, and procedures alongside other teams and suppliers. There are both strong technical and BA elements to this role - we require an architect comfortable with specifying both operational and technical layers.
- We are not looking for IA’s or SyA’s from IA background with limited/no development experience - this is not a GRC focused role: these aspects are already well covered.
- Experience working in Defence Industry, MoD, PAG or other Central Gov.
- Ideally experience working at or developing secure systems or above.
Domain Knowledge:
- MS Zero Trust Architecture and Enterprise Access Model.
- Enterprise Architecture modelling
- Identity Access Management including Identity Governance & Administration.
- Must have experience with AD DS, RBAC’s and policy implementation.
- Ideally experience with IGA solutions e.g., SailPoint, OneIdentity, Omada.
- Ideally experience in development of JML processes.
- Privileged Access Management
- PAM
- Ideally experience with PAM solutions e.g., CyberArk, Delinea, HashiCorp Boundary.
- Authentication, Authorisation, Access solutions.
- Secrets Management.
- Ideally experience with solutions e.g., HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk Secrets Manager.
- Data lifecycle management.
- Including specification of policies, procedures, and data lifecycle security solutions.
- Virtualisation and Infrastructure security.
- Ideally developing private cloud environments or design patterns.
- Ideally supporting legacy applications and infrastructure.
