Description

This position is to support our client to provide infrastructure and SOC services for an ASH (Azure Stack Hub) Secret private cloud offering. We are looking for a technically skilled security aware member who can work in a joint MS/CGI team, support the ASH provision and enhance the offering in response to service requests and to help resolve incidents. Also to ensure compliance with MS and Client security and technical operational processes. The role is primarily based at MOD Corsham, although some other travel may be required. This role will be based on 24/7 shift work and there may be potential for on call shifts in the future. - Work with Senior SOC Engineer to undertake monitoring, analysi, and incident resolution activities - Continually Improve the SOC configuration and automation - Support addition of new rules for the product against emerging client scenarios/priorities - Support wider test and assurance activities - Experience in the secure elements of service delivery - Ability to work well in a mixed client CGI team - Ability to quickly pick up new technologies (ie MASH) - Experience in Microsoft Server Technologies - Experience in SIEM/SOAR activities, such as log gathering, Event monitoring, Incident alerting - Information Assurance Principles - Experience of moving from project into service delivery - Huntsman experience - Public and/or Private Azure - Vulnerability Management Tooling
