Based in Milan
Group Tax Compliance Specialist
Contract: 1-year temporary
Mission / Objective
You will be a key member of the EMEA Tax Team, working closely with Group Legal Entities to manage and coordinate tax compliance across legal entities in the EMEA region. Your role will ensure that both direct and indirect tax obligations are met, while supporting cross-border tax operations and taxonomy of regulatory developments.
Key Responsibilities
Tax Compliance (Italy & EMEA)
Prepare and coordinate direct tax computations and tax returns for the Italian legal entities
Support other departments (e.g., Legal, Finance) on a range of tax matters
Oversee indirect tax compliance for European entities, including VAT returns and Intrastat filings
Manage cross-border tax issues, such as withholding tax on cross-border transactions
Coordination & Analysis
Lead and coordinate the direct tax calculation process for EMEA legal entities
Analyze and research tax regulations, keeping up-to-date with changes in tax law that impact EMEA entities
Education & Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Law, with a focus on Tax Law
Master’s in Tax Law (desirable but not essential)
1–3 years of tax experience, either in a corporate tax department or a tax/legal consultancy dealing with multinational companies
Skills & Technical Requirements
Proficient in using tax-related databases (e.g. Fisconline, Ipsoa, Eutekne, IBFD)
Strong Excel skills (part of Microsoft Office suite)
Fluent in English
Knowledge of SAP is a plus
