You will work in a motivated team responsible for operating z/OS mainframe applications with high functional relevance for the bank. You will participate in a major innovation project aimed at modernizing the bank’s core applications.

As an IT System Engineer, you will contribute your many years of experience in the mainframe environment as a key point of contact for business departments as well as internal and external service providers.
As a team, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of end-of-day processing.
You are familiar with resource and capacity planning for a team and ensure the reliable execution of assigned operational tasks as well as participation in projects.

Your Profile

• You have completed a degree in computer science or possess a comparable qualification.

• You have very good knowledge of processes and procedures for provisioning and TWS scheduling/control of test, acceptance, and production environments on z/OS mainframes.

• Experience in the banking environment is an advantage, as is knowledge of IT operations processes and ITIL.

• You are communicative and value cooperative collaboration.

• Knowledge of Automic UC4 is an advantage.

• Fluent German skills (at least C1 level, spoken and written) complete your profile.

Special Conditions

• Shift work, on-call duty, and possible weekend assignments.

• The position is limited to two years and offered on a part-time basis (50%).
