CYBER SECURITY CONSULTANT

YOUR MISSION:
As a consultant for cyber security and cyber resilience, you advise well-known companies worldwide on #IT security. In large-scale projects, you are in charge when it comes to developing and implementing security concepts. Whether in the office, remotely or, if necessary, directly at the customer's site: You work with them to define and optimize security solutions so that threats are identified early and efficiently and our customers can respond quickly and appropriately.
THIS IS WHAT AWAITS YOU:
- Implement security solutions.
- You bring our customers' IT and security departments together and provide them with operational support to better protect their IT and OT landscapes against threats using selected security tools and solutions. You will help make all security operations more efficient using modern security automation tools .
- Define security incidents.
You monitor our customers' threat situation and preventively define when a potential, relevant security incident occurs in their cloud and on-premise systems or OT and IoT environments and how to deal with it.
- Strengthen security.
- You analyze operating models and processes and define them for the area of cyber security in order to define the necessary structures and focus areas for a successful defensive strategy with our customers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- You have completed your degree in (business) information technology - ideally with a focus on cybersecurity.
- You have at least two years of professional experience in IT and cybersecurity.
- You are familiar with SIEM tools such as Splunk, Elastic, Microsoft Sentinel or Exabeam. Maybe you even have relevant certifications?
- Have you already had contact with vulnerability management or endpoint protection solutions such as Qualys, Nessus, or CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender?
- You are familiar with general IT security methods such as authorization management as well as with the topics of IT networks, cloud, big data and operating systems.
- You express yourself clearly in German and English.
