In Oslo alone, we have over 60 designers and we are continuously growing. Our customers sometimes have major socially critical and complex challenges that they must solve through digital products and services. That is why we now need even more experienced service designers on the team.
Who are we looking for?
The most important thing for us is that you are passionate about making a difference. A difference for our customers, but also for you and me as citizens. In order for you to be well prepared for this, we believe that you have:
- Higher relevant education (bachelor's or master's degree)
- At least 4-5 years' experience as an executive service designer from the public or private sector
- Broad experience in creating relevant and engaging services using user-centred design methodology
- Ability to think analytically and strategically, and sees opportunities based on user needs and business goals
- Ability to simplify and communicate complex issues visually, in writing and orally
- Ability to facilitate and motivate people through a strategic design process, and would like even more experience in agile methodology, process management or change management
- Ability to communicate your subject in an engaging way
- Strong professional expertise, and a desire to get involved in sharing expertise and professional development
- An open and curious mindset, and is not afraid to tackle the customer's complex challenges
- Fluent in Norwegian and English.
- Experience with systemic design
What are you going to do?
We live and breathe to create good user experiences and solutions that simplify everyday life for customers, users and residents. We assist our customers in many industries, both private and public sector, in areas such as health, education, energy, defense and transport. Recently, we have gained increasing trust from our state-owned and public customers, and are in long-term assignments where we solve socially critical and topical challenges.
Your contribution as a service designer is to:
- Plan and carry out insight work and user interviews to map user and business needs
- Analyze data, user journeys and user insights
- Define and prioritize issues and proposed solutions
- Facilitate and participate in idea and concept development, prototyping and user testing of digital user interfaces and user experiences
- Facilitate both strategic workshops and creative design sprints
- Work in agile and multidisciplinary teams with process managers, developers, domain experts, product owners and other designers
- Advise and communicate the value of service design and design thinking methodology internally and externally
- As a senior designer, you must be able to run inclusive and experimental design processes, hold the customer "in hand" through demanding changes, challenge and expand the scope of possibilities, and be able to communicate and anchor issues and proposed solutions to all types of stakeholders.
What can we offer?
Although we have become a large company, you have a short way to decisions and the opportunity to influence your own everyday life. Our values - credibility, culture of sharing, down-to-earthness, freedom and enthusiasm - are lived out every day, all year round. Our culture is characterized by cooperation, unity and sharing. We do not have personal bonuses, but instead share our profits. This means that it is easy for a colleague to seek help from another, without it going over their own wallet. With us, you will be well received and well looked after. You get a large degree of freedom and responsibility to do the job as you think is best, and at the same time have a good balance between work and leisure. You will of course also have the opportunity to strengthen your own competence through courses and conferences.
We know that social events with colleagues contribute to better well-being. With us, there is therefore always something going on, whether it's a wine club, an all-nighter at the lab (yes, we have our own lab with HoloLens, 3D printer, sewing machine and more), yoga or our famous annual independence trip where absolutely anything can happen.
At (Client name), we like to live for work. At the same time, we must make a living from the work we do. That is why we have a competitive salary, collective bonus, share program and good pension and insurance schemes. Our employee benefits give you security, opportunities for self-development, strengthen your social life and stimulate physical activity.
