- Description
- As a system engineer, you ensure the daily operation of the clients basic IT infrastructure and data centres and take on the technical management of projects in your department (commissioning, migrations, lifecycle). You will also support a team of competent engineers in the analysis, conception, design, implementation, testing and documentation of complex IT environments.
Expected from you:
- IT training (federal certificate/diploma, HF, FH or a comparable training)
- Sound experience in the VMware vSphere virtualization and Veeam backup environment
- Experience in server technology, SAN, storage and backup system environment (preferably with HPE products)
- Experience in the Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Server environment as well as PowerShell knowledge is an advantage
- Strong service orientation, high level of independence and personal responsibility
- On-call availability (approx. every 2 months)
- Category B driver's license
