Paul and Harry’s Berlin Adventure!
Recently, Managing Director Paul Springall and Senior Recruitment Consultant Harry Cook embarked on an exciting journey to Berlin, Germany, returning from their trip full of new experience and insight.
On arrival, Paul and Harry wasted no time in catching up with our clients, making for a busy trip, with a quick stop to see the sights!
Paul shares his thoughts on the trip, saying: “I had the pleasure of accompanying Harry to Berlin.
“It was my first time in this vibrant, historic, and truly magnificent city, and we certainly kept ourselves busy, with 12 meetings squeezed into the diary.
“Not only did we visit the clients themselves, we also got to meet many of the candidates whom we’ve placed into roles over the past year, so it was great to see them getting on so well and finally meeting Harry in person.
“Seeing the relationships that Harry has built turning into genuine partnerships and collaboration proves that this is the best approach!”

Key takeaways from this trip include the understanding that whilst the market remains a challenge - exemplified by a CTO receiving a staggering 400 applicants for a role - there is definitely a feeling that 2024 is heading in a positive direction.
It also seems evident that senior decision-makers understand the strategic advantage of collaborating with specialists for crucial hires, acknowledging the significance of leveraging expert knowledge and insights.
Beyond the meetings, it appears that Paul and Harry also enjoyed the historic, vibrant, and positive feel of the city!
