Job Description

A Marketing Manager opportunity has arisen for an initial 12 month maternity cover FTC based in the City. This role represents a fantastic opportunity for a marketing professional to join a well-respected and evolving Financial Software organisation. Salary is up to £55k (dependent on experience) + benefits.

As the Marketing Manager you will manage a small team to plan, execute and manage all aspects of the marketing funnel and contribute towards effective lead generation, sales support, brand development and brand marketing across all divisions of the company.

The role will require you to multi-task and be detailed orientated and to plan, execute, manage and budget a Marketing strategy covering:-

  • SEO, AdWords and Website

  • Sales & Lead Generation Campaigns

  • Press Releases & Case Studies

  • Market Research and Awareness Activities

  • Social Media Presence

  • Client & Prospect Communications

You will also be responsible but not limited to the following:-

Specifics of the role include:

  • Manage the production of sales & marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, white papers, corporate presentations, case studies & advertisements

  • Manage the maintenance and development of the Group website

  • Report to the board weekly on MQLs

  • Manage 2 Marketing Assistants

  • Work with the Sales teams to plan and execute marketing campaigns

  • Present the Company's products, services and USP's effectively

The following skill and experience are essential for the role:-

  • B2B experience

  • Minimum 3 year experience managing small marketing team

  • Degree educated (business and/or marketing) or equivalent

  • Events planning and management both internal and external

  • Working with a Software Company/Vendor is highly beneficial for this hire

It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as you will be working with senior stakeholders on a daily basis. The ability to prioritise and manage your time effectively is a must for this hire. As Marketing Manager you will be proficient in Hub Spot and ideally have exposure to Microsoft Dynamics, Adobe Product suite and good use of Microsoft365.
